As a native Arizonan, Bonnie's approach to Southwest art is authenticated by a first hand knowledge of the Western Culture and environment. Being able to depict subjects in their natural environment has made her work very appealing to the public. Since her artwork has drawn public notice, it has made her teaching in private art lessons, workshops, and guest artist demonstrations also very popular.
Bonnie is an accomplished artist in a multitude of media (Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Collage, Pencil, Pastel, and Pen & Ink), She enjoys adjusting the media to the subject or mood that best communicates the impact of the subject or scene. She enjoys the challenge and discipline of realistic expression and the freedom of impressionist and abstract art. She is intimately dedicated to her work, the visual arts, and is an avid art history buff with an extensive art library.
