BONNIE KITCHENS

About the Artist...

Bonnie Kitchens is well known for her vibrant, colorful, dynamic paintings.  A native Arizona artist, Bonnie travels teaching workshops across the country.  Her extensive travels have provided a constant source of creative inspiration.  She has worked hard to master numerous artistic techniques and media (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and drawing).

Bonnie has exhibited in numerous juried and one person shows, receiving awards in varied categories.  Her work has also been published in articles and magazines.  Her work is both privately and publicly collected and exhibited (AT&T, Honeywell, Government buildings, etc.).  Her repertoire also includes commissioned murals and community services (i.e. a mural for Alzheimer's Center; Phoenix Baptist Hospital).  Her original paintings have been featured in Arizona galleries (i.e. Scottsdale, Prescott, etc.).

Bonnie's love for the arts has inspired her to share her interests with others of the same interest.  In weekly classes she instructs students in many mediums and does demonstrations and lectures for art organizations, clubs, and schools.
